What Makes our Pre School Different?

Tampa Elite Sports Academy’s objective is to help your child blossom into the next stage of their life.

Our curriculum allows the students to learn writing, reading, numbers, shapes, and colors.

In addition, being a sports academy, we explore many mainstream sports and introduce the basic fundamentals and rules of the game. The students not only get free play in the playground but they learn how to be a team player from the many sports and recreational games that are played.

Creative Curriculum Early Childhood Program:

Develops the early learning skills and experiences critical for children’s future success in school.  Through purposeful play as well as explicit instruction, the Creative Curriculum program provides our most eager learners with all nine areas of the Preschool Curriculum Guidelines:

Language and Early Literacy, Math, Science, Social Studies, Fine Arts, Health and Safety, Personal
and Social Development, Physical Development, and Technology. Personal and Social Development,
in particular, are addressed interactively, as its own curriculum.

Our Food Program:

Cornerstone Children’s Nutrition Connection requires us to serve age specific meals that meet  their program requirements. Allergies and substitutions are taken very seriously, we have the capability to find an alternative food approved by the  program, and distribute if necessary. A significant goal of the Child Care Food Program (CCFP) is to safely serve nutritious meals and snacks that’s meet program meal requirements and are appetizing to children.

At TESA we will provide your child with a nutritious breakfast and snacks. Lunch is provided by the parent if your child attends our facility for full time care.

Sports:

The students enrolled in our preschool program are also allowed to be involved in our after school sports. We offer an array of sports throughout the year including Flag football, dance, basketball,  soccer, gymnastics, and cheerleading. These sports are available at an extra cost per season. The season includes team t-shirts, practice and games at TESA, trophies, and a pizza party at the end of the season. Please feel free to call us if you have any further questions about our after school activities.

VPK / Pre School Illness/Injury Information

Written by admin. Posted in Pre School, VPK Program

Illness/Injury During School Hours

When a child becomes seriously ill or is injured during school hours, the nurse will notify a parent/guardian. The parent/guardian will be required to pick-up the child or make arrangements for pick-up. In emergency situations, it is essential for all phone numbers and contact information to be current and accurate. Parents and guardians shall be required to provide an updated list of emergency contact numbers each quarter during the school year. It remains the parents’ responsibility to provide the school with any change of home, work or cell phone numbers as they are changed. Please remember that the updated information you provide is the only means by which we can contact you during any emergency. If you have a change in phone numbers or contact information, please notify the school immediately to update the records.

Physical Examination/Immunization Requirements

Physical examinations are required for all children prior to school registration. Since the family physician best know the child, it is requested that he/she perform the examinations.
To be admitted to school, all students must show evidence of immunization against poliomyelitis, tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis, measles (rubeola), and rubella (German measles). Exceptions may be made on the basis of religious conviction or medical contraindication by completing the required forms available in the school office. Additional immunizations requirements may be necessary as per state code and law.

Illness & Attendance

Good school attendance is necessary for success in school. Academic progress and attitude toward school and schoolwork is directly related to attendance. Children who are ill, however, do not profit from coming to school and may infect others. Students exceeding 3consequtive day’s absence in during a monthly period will be considered excessively absent and may be subject to being released from the vpk program.

The following shall be exceptions, not included in the 3 day maximum number of absences per month:

Following an illness of five (5) or more consecutive days, the student will present a note from a doctor, clinic, Board of Health, or hospital explaining the reason for the absence.
Where a student suffers with a chronic illness, documentation of said illness must be included in the student’s medical file.

3 Things Your Child Should Expect From a Daycare Provider

Written by admin. Posted in Things To Know About daycare

Does your little one have the first-day jitters about attending a brand-new daycare? If so, you can go a long way in easing those nerves by providing your child with some standard information, due to the fact that it may simply be that your child’s nervousness is mainly due to not knowing exactly what the daycare experience might be like.

Need some support when it involves talking it out? Here are 3 things your youngster must get out of a daycare program:.
Routine. Children flourish on routine. They normally wish to consume the exact same breakfast and lunch every day, see the exact same tv shows every day, see the same people every day, and abide by the same schedule every day. Why? They feel more in control and less anxious due to the fact that when kids know what is going to take place and when. It’s a big world out there, and it can be really scary when your little ones have no idea exactly what’s coming next. The daycare experience is focused on routine, and your youngster can anticipate to come to be accustomed to that schedule within a matter of days.
Friendly staff. From the moment you register your child with a daycare of your deciding on, your youngster ought to be designated to a staff member (or teacher) who will be there for support and support throughout the day. Ensure your child that there should never ever be any question regarding who to resort to for assistance, which the exact same instructor (s) ought to be with your child until it is time to “graduate” to the following age.
Play time. Sure, you expect that your youngster will obtain some education while in daycare, however your child does not need to know that. An effective daycare educational program routine must seem like a prolonged playtime for your child. As a result, you can tell your child to expect to have plenty of enjoyable and play time at preschool. To be specific, you could explain about finding out (or play) centers, recess (and all those fantastic playing field tasks), crafts and arts time, and socializing with brand-new friends.
Running a daycare is not child’s play. It is serious business that involves the care of your most valuable treasure. Your kids are worthy of to be in an atmosphere that will support their talents and interest, and bordered by people who care about their health. Tampa Elite Sports Academy is a daycare you can trust.
